BUS:

path between the components of a computer. We use them to transfer data from one location to another.

Types of BUS:

1-Internal Bus (System Bus)

2-External Bus (Expansion Bus)

System Bus:

1-Present on motherboard.

2-Connect the CPU to the devices present on motherboard.

How it works?

Expansion Bus:

1-It helps to connect external devices to CPU.

2-Most common example is PCI bus.

Processor and ALU:

1-CPU is the main processor of computer.

2-It is a multi-core processor e.g dual core,quad core

3-It carries basic set of instructions to perform operations.

4-ALU stands for Arithmetic Logic Unit.

5-It performs basic mathematical operations like addition , subtraction etc
